The Adkerson School of Accountancy and Mississippi State University were pleased to host members of the Mississippi State Board of Public Accountancy (MSBPA) when they met in Starkville September 19. Holding a regular meeting of the state board on campus offered an opportunity for faculty and students to attend and observe.

ASAC Director Shawn Mauldin welcomed board members Annette Pridgen, Gary Walker, Willie Sims, Jr., Rick Elam, William Kelly and Charles Prince, as well as Karen Moody of the Mississippi Society of CPAs, Alexis Morris of the Mississippi Attorney General’s office and MSBPA staff members. The School held a luncheon afterward, when students could engage with board members about licensing, certification and other key matters.
