​Mississippi State accounting students are highly sought after. This is evidenced in our near-100 percent placement rate, and it is also seen in the demand for our students as interns.

Students of the Adkerson School of Accountancy have landed 60 internships for this semester and the following summer. They are living and working in locations ranging from here in Mississippi to places like New York, New Orleans, California and Arizona. The experience prepares them for the professional environment and helps them define career goals. In many cases, interns – who are typically seniors – are offered full-time positions following completion of their educations.
